ACCIS Webinar: "PSD 2 and Open Banking APIs: Understanding the Revolution" - 16 October 2017

On 16 October 2017, ACCIS held a Webinar on the topic: "PSD2 and open Banking APIs: Understanding the Revoluton".

During the Webinar, industry experts - Pascale Brien, Senior Payment Adviser at the European Banking Federation, and Patricia Shaw, Regulatory and Government Affairs Solicitor at Experian Limited, presented to the ACCIS members the latest EU regulatory developments related to the implementation of the New Payments Services Directive (PSD2), and discussed the changes brought by the PSD2 to the payments, credit reporting and banking setors.

The Webinar covered the following topics:

  • Bank data-sharing and open bankng standards: a landslide change
  • PSD2 requirements on 3rd party account access: state of play
  • PSD2 and credit referencing agencies: threats and opportunities?
  • PSD2 and GDRP interface

The Webinar was attended by more than 30 paricipants from various ACCIS members, who actively paricipated in the discussion with the experts and raised a number of questions regarding the new legislation and its implications for the credit reporting industry.
